Q1:

How do make a custom design to be silk screened?

Simple. Send us the design or idea by email or facsimile. Please include the size, quantity and the date you need them by. One of our artists will design something for you.

Q2:

I’m not a good artist. Do you have graphic designers that can help me?

Yes!! We have graphic designers that will help you with your design. Send us your ideas by email, mail or fax. There is a $75.00/hour artwork charge.

Q3:

I found a logo on the internet. Can I use it for my screening?

The unauthorized use of registered trademarks and copyrighted logos or designs is illegal. When requesting manufactured products with the use of these logos, we assume that you have obtained permission. We do, however, reserve the right to ask for written confirmation of this permission. Zone West Enterprises Ltd. accepts no responsibility or liability for any unauthorized of licensed or copyrighted material of any kind. Zone West Enterprises Ltd. reserves the right to refuse to manufacture material which may be deemed to be offensive or which may allegedly be in violation of any legal statute.

What is your minimum order?

Our Custom screening’s minimum order is 12.
Our Custom heat transfer minimum order is 50.

Q5:

What kind of file should I send?

You can send us the JPEG, PDF, DOCX, EPS, GIF, PNG, AI, PSD, SVG and CDR. We can work with pretty much any format. If you are not sure, please contact us.

Q6:

When can I expect to get a quote and the design back to me?

We strive to answer quotes within 24 hours. Once the quote is accepted by you a design can be ready in a day or two depending on the amount of work involved. These times vary depending on the demand.

Q7:

What is the turnaround time?

The production time will be 2-3 weeks from the day you approve the artwork and confirm the order. The shipping times depend on your location and method that you chose. Overnight shipping is available.

Q8:

I have some artwork. Do I still have to pay for screening setup fee?

Yes, it will be $28.00/colour for first time. The repeat order will be $15.00/colour. Please contact us for more detail.

Q9:

I don’t have a lot of time. Can you rush the order?

This depends on the design and quantity. Please contact us for more detail.

Q10:

Can I return the order?

Custom orders are made according to your specifications. We cannot accept returns on custom products. Please take the time to review the proof. Once you have approved your order and the signed proof has been received by us indicating that your proof is correct, the order will be non-refundable / non-returnable.

Q11:

I have a silk screening that I like to make more of, but I didn’t order through Zone West. Can you screen them?

Yes, we can recreate an existing design. Please send us high resolution JPEG, size and quantity first for the quote. Depending on the original design, we may require the actual screened products to match the design and the colour.

Q12:

Do you keep a record of our order?

Yes, we keep designs on file for a minimum of 10 years. If you decide to reorder, we will have your order in our system.

Can you screen onto anything?

It’s depend on the product and accessibility. Please contact us.

Q14:

Can I bring my jacket or shirt for screening?

Yes. As long as the garment is brand new, we can screen them. Please contact us for more information.

Q15:

Can I have a vector format file for my record?

There are additional charges for this service. Call for details.

Q16:

Do you carry the stock screen design?

Not at this point.
